'dont ask, dont tell' ( DADT )

The 'dont ask, dont tell' policy was introduced to allow individuals with different sexual orientations to serve in the armed forces. it is a non-discriminatory policy that states "anybody can serve as long as they do not reveal their sexuality and do not engage in sexual conduct while in service". in other words, " you can join, but dont talk, dont discuss and dont admit it. as for everybody else, dont ask about it".

in the world of "straight" men, the 'dont ask, dont tell' policy has been practised for years regardless of their age. it is a concept understood without a written explanation. ( for this purpose im only focusing on age 25 and above, non phidophiles, urban men ). at the end of the day, it's always the 'dont ask, dont tell' versus 'tell me everything' movement hailed by women that creates that grey area where people start to fabricate things to get what they want.

at one part, i support the dont ask, dont tell policy where everyone must understand that there is a thin line between what you should know and what you dont have to know.

at another part, 'dont ask, dont tell' became a protective blanket, an escape gate for the naughty ones to become experts in being naughty and the naive ones end up keep believing the untruth.

im not saying we should start being negative and doubt what everybody is doing behind their pretty faces. but parents, wives, husbands, girlfriends, boyfriends and bestfriends all around the world, be ready to lie, and be lied to. "the beauty in this is not to know who is hiding what, but to know, who is not hiding at all. "
