when one door closes, another opens....

hellows.....been weeks i know. but i hav been very occupied with, ehm, life. hahaha...my latest adventure was a trip to singapore. it was a blast and 1 day is definitely not enuff to go around. i was in jb the whole week for work stuff and took the opportunity to hop on the bus ( thx zatul for showing me around!). of cors, what's a trip without the pics right.

us at the stesen bus larkin. you have to purchase this white papered document for RM1 sold by some makcik there. its for the customs, you have to fill it in before hand. trip to singapore by direct bus to bugis road only cost RM2.30.

then u'll stop twice, once at the Malaysian customs and then at the Singapore customs. u hav to rush at both places though or the bus will leave you thus u have to wait for the next one.

we arrive atthe bugis road, then we walkd to the Bugis MRT station to go to our first stop, Orchard Road. lots of shopping complexes but almost all are high end which is kinda different from mlysia. however, when i surveyed at Nikes, MNGs, Guess and other normal shops that can be found in malaysia, the price of the goods is almost the same. i was told that price will decrease excessively during sale seasons though.

but the most amazing thing that makes me go crazy is the perfumes and lotions and shower gels which im absolutely an avid collector of. so cheap!!! i can go nuts. although i have so much of it at home, i borong jugak like crazy. hahahaha

then we took the MRT to chinatown. but....suddenly my friend forgot the way. haha. funny rite. so we took the MRT again and head to esplanade.

on that very small end is where the famous lion statue.

one of the amazing thing seen at esplanade. saw this in the news few months back, but to actly get to see it is nice. this place ( dunno what it's called ) will be kind of like the las vegas of asia.

that durian like building is the esplanade. and the bridge in front of it is track for Singapore's F1. yup...race in the city. it is open for public use during non F1 competition. this is v.different from Malaysia who has a special track for F1.

i had to catch a flight at 8pm so we had to make a move early from singapore. although we didnt manage to visit many places, i had a great time and will definitely come back again.
