Tort - French word for WRONG. An act that injures someone in some way which injured person may sue wrongdoer for damages.

Signs of Tort:
1) When you breach the duty of care
2) The "Reasonable Man" test
3) Rep Ipsa Loquitor Maxim - The thing speaks for itself

Defense arguement :
1) Self Defense2) Volunti Non Fit Injuria - No harm done to a person who consents
3) Necessity

Vicarious Liability - One person is liable for negligence of another person even though is not directly responsible
